Free creative workshops for Corby Dads* of pre-school children.
This series of workshops helps participants to develop and learn some basic or beginner level creative and practical wood working skills. You will be using hand held tools and machinery with guidance from Artist Tom Mitchell from Timber Club. This is a warm and welcoming space for all involved with complimentary refreshments and plenty of time for a chat too.
This project is in partnership with Pen Green Children’s Centre, who will also be supporting the sessions. We ask that you commit to attending all sessions.
Who is it for: *Dads of children under the age of 5 – including parents/carers/guardians or those who identify as a Dad. This is an adults only session so you can have some time for yourself without children. Participants must reside in our funded Corby area.
Access: The workshop is wheelchair accessible and has an accessible toilet.
Parking/Travel: There is free parking available behind the venue (off School Place). The number 3 bus stops nearby or it is a 13-15 minute walk from the town centre.
