Made With Many is a professional, community-led arts organisation which delivers a year-round programme of events and activities with and for the people of Corby and Wellingborough in Northamptonshire.
At Made With Many we are proud to be bold and proud to be trusted by Arts Council England to deliver dynamic, high-quality arts and cultural activities for all ages and demographics – from festivals and exhibitions to installations and events.
Since our launch in 2014, Made With Many has organised more than 2,500 activities and events for local people, bringing our diverse communities together and supporting local people to take the lead.
Curiosity is at our core, so we are always asking questions, listening to and working with the communities we serve and striving to do more.
Made With Many is part of the national Creative People & Places (CPP) network — an Arts Council England programme designed to boost arts participation in areas where people have had fewer chances to get involved.
We launched in 2013 (originally as Made In Corby) in response to the CPP programme, led by a local consortium of arts and community organisations. We’re funded by Arts Council England through the National Lottery.
CPP is all about people taking the lead — choosing, creating and taking part in creative experiences right where they live. There are currently 39 CPP projects across the UK, each rooted in a specific local community.

Our Consortium helps guide the strategic direction of Made With Many and is led by local charity Groundwork Northamptonshire, who act as our accountable body.
Our Independent Chair, Rob Purdie, works alongside a group of passionate local organisations including Corby Cube Theatre Trust, Corby Community Arts, Greatwell Homes, Teamwork Trust and WACA.

At Made With Many, co-creation means more than just making art together — it’s about building projects from the ground up, with local people leading the way. We work hand-in-hand with communities on everything from ideas and planning to budgeting and evaluation. The process is flexible, shaped by what each community needs, and no two projects look the same.
Here’s how it usually flows (though not always in this order):
We hold community conversations with the priority community exploring their needs, hopes and delivery models that will work best for them.
Ownership of any physical work created and discussions around planning for future projects takes place with all co-creators, sometimes leading to further community conversations.
The project engages a wider audience/participant group, with regular check-in points with the community panel.
We hold community conversations with the priority community exploring their needs, hopes and delivery models that will work best for them.
We prioritise communities (geographic and demographic) using local data and engagement figures. Further target audiences are identified via community conversations.
All co-creators, including additional participants, evaluate the activity, and the co-creation process.
As an action research programme, we are continuously reflecting on our processes and delivery and making changes as we go.
The community leads project development, formally or informally, with key decisions always resting with them, not us.

Artists play a key role too, bringing their own co-creation style while working side-by-side with participants to shape the work together — from ideas to final outcomes.
