Made With Many will be popping-up in your local community this summer and need an extra helping hand with a series of creative activities.
Made With Many need your help!
Made With Many need your help to connect with the local community at a variety of local events this summer.
As part of Made With Many’s future planning, and events that link to the new Pride in Place initiative, we are bringing creative activities to a whole summer of community events to spark conversations with local people about what they would like to see happening in their neighbourhood or town.
Victoria Bell (Made With Many Co-Director)
“We will be out on the road all summer to meet people in their neighbourhoods to focus on listening to our communities and hearing their ideas for the future. As part of that process we could do with an extra helping hand from some volunteers, so whether you are available for one afternoon or a few dates over the summer – please do get in touch!”
What does this Volunteering opportunity involve?
Made With Many are keen to find volunteers who are friendly and approachable and who might have some creative skills or knowledge of the local area. In particular they are looking for people who would like to volunteer to help with any of the following:
- Setting up or taking down pop-up stands at larger community events (with some lifting and manual work involved)
- Assisting Artists and event attendees with creative activities
To volunteer, you’ll need to be aged over 16 and you do not need to have done any volunteering before. You can volunteer with friends if you can persuade them to sign up too – or make some new friends whilst helping out!
“Volunteering is a great way to meet new people or gain vital experience for your job or college applications at the same time as supporting your local community. We will give you support and guidance as well as trying to match you with a role that suits your interests and access needs.”
Victoria Bell (Made With Many Co-Director)
