When someone asks about art experiences we had in our childhood, what memory springs to mind for you? Family videos and photographs of school productions, or stories that are told at family gatherings and weddings about us being toddlers covered in paint?

I can recall a story about myself, aged three, being the first volunteer to go up on stage and make music (hitting pots and pans) at a production of Tarzan. Another story less favourable for my parents I’m sure, is about my brother and I taking our painting from paper to the walls with bright red poster paint. These stories sparked conversation in the Made With Many office about colleagues’ first time on a stage in their school production, or treasured memories of making clay coil pots with their own children.

In the summers of 2023 and 2024, Made With Many presented Family Arts Festival in Corby. The festival weeks were a fantastically diverse programme of creative arts opportunities for early years, from process art and music and movement to performances and shows.

We are really excited to present Family Arts Festival Pop-Up, a season of early years pop-up performances and workshops across Corby and Wellingborough, all designed for 0 to 7s to get involved in the creative arts. Across January, February and March we invite you and your little ones to join us at one of our pop-up sessions and chase away those winter blues with dance and play! From imaginative storytelling to exciting performances to sensory art, there really is something to interest every creative spark.
