<< Back to Creative KHL workshop programme Woodworking Introduction to Machines This day-long course led by Emma Denby will start to introduce new woodworkers to the KHL Community Workshop’s machines. This introduction will get you on your way to making full use of the facilities of the workshop safely and with confidence. This workshop is intended as a part 2 to our introduction to handtools though it is possible to take either independently. Some additional training may be required before being allowed to use workshop machines independently. Date: Sunday 29th January or Sunday 5th February Time: 10am - 5pm (including a lunch break) Venue: KHL Community Workshop, Gainsborough Rd, Corby NN18 0QF (there is limited parking accessible from School Place.) About the KHL Community Workshop: a new creative space in Corby with woodworking, 3D printing and crafting facilities and an exciting programme of workshops. These sessions are offered to everyone on a Pay What You Decide basis, with facility to take cash donations on the day. We recommend a donation of £15. The cost of each session to the organisers is £35 per place.
