<< Back to Creative KHL workshop programme Woodworking: Introduction to Hand Tools This day-long course led by Emma Denby is an introduction for those who would like to start working with wood but have little or no experience. Emma will take us through our first woodwork project which could include creating a planter, toolbox or bird box. This process will focus on the basic techniques you need to get started including cutting, joining and treating wood. Venue: KHL Community Workshop, Gainsborough Rd, Corby NN18 0QF (there is limited parking accessible from School Place). About the KHL Community Workshop: a new creative space in Corby with woodworking, 3D printing and crafting facilities and an exciting programme of workshops. These sessions are offered to everyone on a Pay What You Decide basis, with facility to take cash donations on the day. We recommend a donation of £15. The cost of each session to the organisers is £35 per place.
