HD Media CIC trainees filming the Charter Stage at Corby Pole Fair © ABDigitalUK Photography << Back to Corby Pole Fair main menu Corby Pole Fair 2022 Film Premiere Join us for a free premiere screening of the Corby Pole Fair 2022 film which celebrates this year's fair and the hundreds of community members and volunteers that made it happen. Follow this unique Corby tradition as it unfolds from the 6am Royal Charter reading and dawn procession, through parades, performances, food and festivities well into the night, made possible by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, thanks to National Lottery players. The film is the sequel to Corby Royal Charter and Pole Fair 1585 – 2002 the 2021 archive film about the history of the fair. This documentary was made by local film trainees with professional guidance from HD Media CIC. Filmed over 16 hours on the 3rd June 2022, five cameras and four crews recorded the events resulting in 20 hours of digital film. The footage has been edited down by trainees and editors to a 30 minute record of the day shown for FREE on 1st December at the Savoy Cinema Corby, but please book as spaces are limited! If you miss the opportunity to see it on this occasion, HD Media CIC will be showing it on the big screen again in early 2022 as part of Corby Big Film Week before it is released online.
