Made With Many (formerly Made In Corby) is one of eleven organisations in England to receive a share of the ScottishPower Foundation’s annual award fund in 2019.

Arts and crafts activities for over 65’s start on 1st May 2019 and will run every Wednesday at Corby Library until July 2019. These sessions are part of a year-long programme of arts activities which will lead up to a celebration of older peoples’ creativity in Spring 2020. (Update: Due to COVID-19 this sharing of work has been postponed until Autumn 2020)

Workshop attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy free coach trips to high-quality arts events around the East Midlands.

Helen Willmott, Programme Directory, said: “Made In Corby has enabled 95,000 engagements in the arts since we started in 2014. We are very fortunate to have been awarded funds from the ScottishPower Foundation which will help us to reach even more older people in Corby, encouraging greater access to the arts and improvements in their social connections,  health and wellbeing.”

The ScottishPower Foundation was established in 2013 with the aim of making a significant and lasting contribution to society, enhancing the lives of people living in communities throughout the UK.
