We are delighted to announce a fancy dress Parade at Corby Pole Fair on 3rd June, presented in partnership with Corby Carnival Association.
The Parade will be for walking entries only – but the ideas and options for your entry are endless! You can travel by pushchair, bicycle, wheelchair or mobility scooter as well as on foot, with groups such as majorettes and marching bands encouraged to get involved too.
The theme is Pole Fair Through The Years so it’s time to get your thinking caps on! What can you think of that relates to Pole Fair, or the years 2002, 1982, 1962, 1947, 1922 or even further back in Corby’s history?
There will be prizes and goody bags for the best fancy dress entries at the fancy dress competition beforehand at Charter Field at 10am before you show off your creations in the parade.
“We are very proud to be working in partnership with Made With Many on the Parade at the 2022 Corby Pole Fair and are now actively looking for entries for this event. The support by the people of Corby for the Carnival so far has been phenomenal and we hope this will continue well into the future”
Terri Meechan from Corby Carnival Association

About Corby Carnival
Corby Carnival Association has been around in its present form since September 2003 when several residents got together and decided to resurrect Corby Carnival.
They have gone from strength to strength since those early days, starting off quite small but within a very few years outgrowing the Cottingham Road/Boating Lake venue and moving to their home now, of the annual Carnival parade starting at Oldlands Road on Oakley Vale and ending at West Glebe Park.
