Made With Many need your help at Well Creative Festival, a FREE cultural extravaganza in Wellingborough town centre on Saturday 21st March.
Well Creative Festival is back for 2026 and promises to be a magical event, with a whole day of creative activities to delight people of all ages, culminating in illuminating Wellingborough town centre as the sun sets! Running from 1pm until 8pm on Saturday 21st March, Well Creative has been co-designed with Made With Many’s youth forum, Canvas to be a fun, free and friendly festival celebrating creativity for residents and families of Wellingborough.
On the day, festivalgoers can get involved in Wellingborough’s very own mini pop-up art space – the Shed of Culture, explore creative workshops, lively performances and unexpected surprises that will delight all ages. Audiences can also experience a glowing disco on wheels, incredible inflatables and enchanting puppets as well as bubble mayhem, twinkling lights, magical storytelling and so much more!
Well Creative Festival has been made possible by funding from Arts Council England, thanks to National Lottery players and now the support of the community is needed to help make it a wonderful experience for local families.
Volunteering at Well Creative Festival
Made With Many are keen to find volunteers who are friendly and approachable and who might have some creative skills or knowledge of the local area. In particular they are looking for people who would like to volunteer to help with any of the following:
- Distributing marketing materials
- Stewarding on the day, providing a helping hand and information to festivalgoers
- Setting up installations and equipment plus take down (with some lifting and manual work involved)
- Assisting Artists or helping with creative activities
Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, gain vital experience for your job or college applications at the same time as supporting your local community. Made With Many will hold a volunteer briefing nearer the time, and try to match you with a role that suits your interests and access needs. Volunteer expenses are also available.
To volunteer, you’ll need to be aged over 16, however you do not need to have done any volunteering before and you can volunteer with friends if you like, so feel free to rope in a friend or two and encourage them to sign up!

“We’ve had great help and support from local organisations such as the Swansgate Centre, Wellingborough Town Council, Wellingborough Library and Castello Lounge, plus all of the free time that the young people from our Canvas group have generously donated to help design the festival. It would be wonderful if the community could also come together to help make this event a roaring success – there are lots of opportunities, so please do get in touch!”
