Visual Arts and Crafts

  1. Submit artwork for display, or volunteer at Wellingborough Methodist Church’s Exhibition of Creative Arts from 15th-17th October 2021.

  1. Join the Friends of Kettering Art Gallery and Museum on Sunday 17th October for a Town Walk where they will be covering the Heritage Quarter of Kettering and introducing their exciting QR plaque scheme.

  3. Follow the Wicksteed Park Heritage project on facebook for creative opportunities.
  4. Shout! Theatre in Corby have been working to archive, preserve and reflect on 20 years of creative work. Follow Shout! on Facebook for videos and project updates.

Local annual events

  1. From 6th to 9th January 2022 you can enjoy a CATS family pantomime, Beauty and the Beast at the Core at Corby Cube.
  2. Raunds Festival shared live roots music online in Spring 2021 and hopes to be back to an in-person event in 2022.
  3. Northampton Film Festival is due to take place in May 2022, featuring film screenings & lots more!
  4. Corby Pole Fair is due to take place on Friday 3rd June 2022 – invite your friends on Facebook.
  5. Tannerfest takes place on 8th/9th July 2022 near Loddington.
  6. Creative Oundle International Festival will take place from 7th – 17th July 2022.
  7. Woodfest takes place in Irchester Country Park each August.
  8. We expect Kaya Festival‘s to make an 11th year of their festival in late August 2022.
  9. The incredible Shambala Festival at Kelmarsh Hall has been postponed again to August 2022.
  10. Greenbelt Festival at Boughton House will take place from 26th to the 29th August 2022.
  11. Visit Northants Open Studios during August and September each year.
  12. Illusive Festival takes place in early September at Deene Park near Corby.
  13. The Nene Valley Festival is a celebration of wildlife, culture and heritage each September.

Writing, Storytelling and Spoken Word
