Choirs

  1. In Wellingborough? Join the Wellingborough Orpheus Choir, the Wellingborough Singers or the Wellingborough Community Gospel Choir. 
  2. In Corby? Join the Corby Male Voice ChoirBig About Singing Corby Community Choir, Deep Roots Tall Trees ChoirCorby Chordless Choir or the COPD singers or the Valley Voice Choir.

Visual Arts and Crafts

  1. Check out what workshops are on offer from Artists working with Northants Open Studios.
  2. Gretton village has a monthly social sewing group and quilting group.
  3. Join art classes or see exhibitions at the Rooftop Arts Centre in Corby – they are having a grand re-opening in their new location in Corby.
  4. Join the Late Developers Photographic Group for a Jubilee Walks Photo Exhibition and Celebration event on Saturday 18th June in Corby.
  5. Join Corby Photographic Club, the Kettering and District Photographic Society, the Wellingborough and District Photographic Club. or find another Camera Club or Photographic Society nearby.
  6. Join Stevie Way Art Group for weekly crafts sessions on a Monday or Patchwork Pals for fortnightly group at Corby Old Village Community Centre.
  7. There are various arts and crafts sessions run by various U3A groups in Northamptonshire.
  8. Follow The Eloquent Fold to find out how to get involved in their creative projects.
  9. The Women’s Have A Go Group (WHAGG) are looking for new members for their FREE weekly club focusing on hobbies and crafts using textile at the Victoria Centre.
  10. Join a Knit and Natter group at Wellingborough Library.
  11. Become a member of the KHL Community Shed when it opens to share and learn craft skills.
  12. Join the Northamptonshire Urban Sketchers if you like drawing outside.

  2. Walk or cycle an accessible natural trail across green spaces with the Corby Heritage Trail.

  4.  Join your Local History Society at Northamptonshire Heritage Forum.
  5. Follow Wicksteed Park Heritage on facebook for creative opportunities.
  6. Learn about the history of Higham Ferrers with a new audio walking tour.

Music
