As part of on Windrush Day celebrations on Sunday 22 June, Made With Many have invited Alexander D Great as a guest performer during the official reception following the flag raising in the Tithe Barn Hall.
Alexander is a Calypso music artist dedicated to keeping this Caribbean art form alive, through song-writing workshops, performances and the development of younger practitioners in this genre. He will also be delivering two Calypso workshops in Croyland Primary School on the Friday before Windrush Day, also supported by Made With Many.
Wellingborough Town Council says of the celebrations:
