<< Back to Creative KHL workshop programme Repair Clinic drop-in at the KHL Community Workshop Join us for a FREE evening of getting your favourite clothes back to their best. We'll have three fantastic crafters to teach a few basic repair stitches that will have you fixing up your stuff & putting buttons back on. You could even make yourself a little pin cushion for your next textile adventures. You can also bring your items in need of repair for advice! You don't have to have any previous experience of sewing. Just come along and enjoy some free tea and a few more years with your lucky socks! Here is a list of things we can teach you to do: \tReplace a button \tPatch a hole in trousers or jeans \tMake adjustment to the length of clothes \tDarn a hole in your favourite woollies \tChange the zip on your trousers (though we lack the equipment to do this for jeans currently) Get in Contact: We can do basic repairs on the spot like sewing on a button or doing some visible darning (with the materials we already have on hand). If you would like us to try and colour match your garment or teach you a trickier repair (zips, large holes, etc) email firstname.lastname@example.org a week in advance with any pictures you have and we'll make sure we're prepared.
