Introducing Puppetry Big Day In Come and join us in person for the first time this year. We will be holding a Free Family Fun Day in Coronation Park to get together and learn how to make glove puppets. Josh Macrow will be leading two puppet making sessions in Coronation Park, with plenty of time to learn how to use your new creations. The activity is for Corby Borough residents and is suitable for adults and children age 5 upwards, with adult supervision. No prior experience of craft or puppetry is necessary. You will also have a chance to take home different puppetry activities with you to make over the May Half Term. There will be a limited number Hand Puppets, Shadow Puppetry & Mannequin Kits to takeaway with you alongside links to instructional videos. Sessions will start at 10:30am and 1pm, lasting 90 minutes each, including a covered activity area in case of wet weather. Participants are invited to bring their own refreshments. You will need to book in advance to be admitted to the event. If you can no longer attend please contact us to let us know so we can invite another family to join. Staying safe during the day: Made With many is committed to making sure you can enjoy this event with your family safely. As such we ask you to follow a few rules throughout the event to keep everyone attending safe. The event take place outdoors in the old Bowling Green at Coronation Park, though if rain is forecast there we have arrange for marquees to cover the event space. There will be toilets available at the Coronation Park Pavilion. We would like to ask everyone to bring a face covering to be used when walking around the area and accessing the toilets which are indoors. Each group will have a designated space where they can make together without wearing face masks. Made With Many staff will have hand sanitiser available on entry and throughout the day for you to use. We will also be cleaning any surfaces that get re-used throughout the day.
