Youth Arts and Skills

Do you want to get creative, learn new skills and make a difference in Wellingborough?

Made with Many are inviting Wellingborough young people 13-18yrs to join the Youth, Arts and Skills project starting 6pm Wednesday 12th October at St Marks Church. The project is starting off by designing and painting a mural in Eastfield Park during October half term with Artist Tony Nero. We are looking for young people to join us on Wednesday evenings before the half term to design the mural with a local artist then help us to paint it in half term.

Then, after October half term, we’ll continue to meet on Wednesday evenings where you can design and plan two more projects which you think will make a difference to the people and places of Wellingborough. These could be projects which improve your local environment, put on an event, do something to help other people in Wellingborough, whatever – you get to decide and we have some funding to help you do it! At the same sessions we’ll also develop skills and have a go at different art forms – whatever you are interested in – it could be Photography, Music, Theatre, Drawing, anything! No previous experience or anything like that is necessary – and you don’t need to register – if you’re interested, just drop in.

Sessions are currently planned up until the Christmas holidays and they will be continuing into 2023 and beyond.
