Craft Your Story
with Ruth Pigott
Join us for a drop-in craft activity with puppeteer and filmmaker Ruth Pigott to create your own unique zoetropes (a series of drawings which can be animated by spinning) and learn about this simple technique to get your own drawings moving!
You will also have the opportunity to make a character for one of our Wellingborough Stories films, we need people in Wellingborough to create 'Mini Me' puppets to represent the people of Wellingborough in Ruth's short films about the lives of local people.
Please Note: 'Mini Me' creations will be kept by the artist after the workshop but can be returned at a later date during the festival, by writing your contact details on the back of each puppet.
No previous experience of puppetry or animation is necessary - just come along and have some fun crafting!
