Pole Fair & Platinum Jubilee activities at Corby Library
Throughout May during Local and Community History Month and early June, our friends at Corby Library have lots of activities planned to celebrate both Corby Pole Fair and the Queen's Platinum Jubilee!

Please note that children under 8 must be accompanied by a parent/carer.
Booking
All of the activities below are FREE to take part in, but places do need to be booked, in one of the following ways:
- Ask a Library staff member at the counter in Corby Cube to book you in
- Call on 0300 126 3000 (option 5 then option 3)

10.30am - 11.30am Family Crafts - Royal Party Poppers
Saturday 4th June
11am - 3pm Family Fun and Games

Saturday 7th May
10.30am - 11.30am – Fire Breathing Dragons (aimed at children aged 5+)
Family craft activity – come along and make a paper plate dragon to take home.
Saturday 14th May
10.30am - 11.30am – Viking Long Boats (aimed at children aged 5+)
Family Activity - make a Viking longboat scene to mark the upcoming Pole Fair.
Wednesday 18th May
2pm - 4pm Human Library (for adults and/or families)
Come along and check out a ‘human book’ and have a chat with a local person about their experiences of Corby Pole Fair in years gone by!
Saturday 21st May
10.30am - 12pm Pole Fair Film Screening and Q&A Session. (For adults and/or families)
Enjoy a screening of HD Media’s Pole Fair film. There will be a discussion and a chance to ask questions afterwards so you can find out lots more about the Pole Fair!
2pm - 3pm Family Crafts - Royal Party Headwear
Saturday 28th May
10.30am - 11.30am Family Crafts - Royal Fireworks
2pm - 3pm Pole Fair themed LEGO Storyboard session
