Memories of the Windrush Textile Project
We are excited to announce the launch of a local textile project, inspired by stories from local people. Textile Artist Seiwa Cunningham will work with local Windrush Generation communities at Wellingborough African Caribbean Association to develop a Windrush themed community quilt ready for Windrush Day 2022. Six weekly workshops will run on Saturdays between 2-4pm from 23rd April until 28th May.
Time: Saturdays 2 - 4pm
Dates: Saturdays 23rd & 30th April and 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th May.
Venue: Wellingborough African Caribbean Association, Rock Street Community Complex, 27-29 Rock Street, Wellingborough, NN8 4LW. [link to map]

Who is it for: These sessions are open to all ages (children must be accompanied by a participating adult)
