The line-up for Liberty UK Festival on Saturday 19th February in Corby has been announced!

Liberty UK Festival, produced by ArtReach in partnership with Made With Many and The Core at Corby Cube will be popping up in Corby as part of a three-part tour across towns and cities in the UK. A series of fun, free and unique artworks and activities will take place across the town including 3 brand new performances that are being co-created with young people in Corby, Leicester and Halton.

Liberty UK Festival is a celebration of freedom and democracy, which explores everyday activism and our collective power to make change, and we invite you, your friends and families to join us. We want to fire up your imaginations about how we can work together to make a difference to things that matter most!

'This is Corby' by Core Create is inspired by the work of Kae Tempest and Jess Green and features poetry, physical theatre and snowballs!
The Write to Rave is an immersive live performance about the political power of rave created with a group of young people from GLOW. It explores the journeys of people trying their best to rave whilst the world tries its best to stop them. Find out more about the show HERE.

Slow Down

Slow Down invites the public to slow down and consider the crossing from isolation back into social society. Lollipop signs are incredibly similar in form to protest placards, and the artists see this similarity as ripe for subversion.

Travelling to Liberty UK Festival


There are no planned road closures in the town centre during Liberty UK Festival but please be aware that the stretch of George Street between Cardigan Place and Everest Lane is for buses and taxis only on Saturdays from 8am until 6pm.

by Car


The main routes into Corby are the A43 North from Kettering and Northampton, the A6003 from Oakham and Uppingham, the A43 South from Stamford and Oundle and the A427 from Market Harborough.

Visitors are strongly advised to use one of the 4 town centre car parks – please follow the links for details:

by Bus


Buses arrive into Corby town centre at George Street, which is right in the middle of the festival – so as soon as you step off the bus you can get involved right away!

by Train


Corby railway station has direct links with Kettering, Wellingborough and Bedford, as well as services from Leicester for which you can change at Kettering. Corby railway station is a 20 minute walk from the town centre, however there are nearby bus connections – see the Traveline website to help you choose the best bus connection to co-ordinate with your train times www.traveline.info
