Kintsugi Masterclass with Sophia Kaprianou
Join us for a workshop on Kintsugi, a Japanese practise of repairing broken pottery with golden lacquer. Artist Sophia Kyprianou will guide through the process and philosophy of this artform. Feel free to bring your own objects in need of repair. We can also provide some pots to repair.
Date: Sunday 12th February
Time: 10am - 4pm (including a lunch break)
Venue: KHL Community Workshop, Gainsborough Rd, Corby NN18 0QF (there is limited parking accessible from School Place).
Who is it for: This session is open to anyone over the age of 16 and no previous experience of Kintsugi or similar crafts making is necessary.

Lunch: Please bring your own packed lunch as food options close to the workshop are limited during the day.

Cost: These sessions are free to residents of Kingswood & Hazel Leys you because of generous funding from Creative Kingswood & Hazel Leys through the Creative Civic Change programme. These sessions are offered to everyone on a Pay What You Decide basis, with facility to take cash donations on the day. We recommend a donation of £15.
The cost of each session to the organisers is £35 per place. If for any reason you are no longer to able to attend please contact Tom Briggs on tom@madewithmany.org so that we can offer your place to somebody else.
