Views of the High Street


Dates: Saturday 4th, Sunday 5th, Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th September 2021
Times: 10am to 4pm
Location: Across Kettering Town Centre

15 local artists will be creating new works of art in this real-time event celebrating the architecture, people and heritage of Kettering Town Centre. Join us to watch these artistic experts at work, create your own ‘View of the High Street’ with our creative packs and take part in artist-led activities.

The resulting artworks will be exhibited in Kettering later in the year – and you’ll be able to add your own creation to our pop-up gallery!

4th September – Gold Street – Near Jamie’s Butchers  –  Catherine Staveley, Jack Watto, Janette Gaggini & Rosie Jarvis


5th September – Market Square – Near Library  – Daniel Kelly, Max Champion, Catherine Matthews & Stella Benford


11th September – High Street – Near B&M  – Jack Watto, Krzysztof Janeczko, Louise Crookenden-Johnson & Sue Taylor


12th September – High Street – Near Market Square – Mia Middleton, Michelle Milroy, Sharon Stirling & Jacob Mawby


This event has been commissioned by the Kettering Cultural Consortium and North Northamptonshire Council as part of the High Street Heritage Action Zone initiative funded by Historic England.
