About this event
We have partnered with Wellingborough Methodist Church to present an Exhibition of Creative Arts and Workshops from 15th – 17th October 2021. There is still time to submit your artwork for the exhibition – simply download the entry form to tell us what piece of creative work you’d like to display before 24th September.
Cost: Free entry and activities
Venue: Wellingborough Methodist Church, 92 Kingsway, Wellingborough NN8 2PD [link to map]
Friday 15 October
6.30 – 9pm: Try your hand at Creative Writing and enjoy Poetry Reading with the NN8 Writers group (18+)
Saturday 16 October
10am – 4pm: Arts Exhibition open
10am – 4pm: Rainbow Art Workshop (for all ages)
Get creative and colourful! Join The Wild Tribe to help with a rainbow art installation. Activities are suitable for younger and older participants.
11am – 1pm: Creative Writing Taster Workshop (18+)
Join Writer Lucy Anderson for this fun and experimental writing session. Have a go at some simple writing activities and find out about techniques to help you get started or continue your own creative writing. No need for prior experience.
Sunday 17 October
1pm – 5pm: Arts Exhibition open
2pm – 4pm: Children’s Creative Activities
Bring the children to explore some creative craft activities, with an opportunity to look at the exhibition at the same time.
Volunteer
Wellingborough Methodist Church will also need lots of volunteers if the event is to run smoothly. If this is something you would like to assist with then you can find the form here to complete. Again, the closing date is the 24th September so if you would love to help put the display together, welcome visitors or serve teas and coffees then please get in touch using the details on the form.
