BIG DAY OUT TO TATE MODERN

After our recent poll of Corby people, over 50% voted for a trip to the Tate Modern gallery in London to see The World Goes Pop exhibition.

You decided…so now is your chance to discover something new!

If you are a resident of the Corby borough, you can reserve a space on the coach for an amazing cultural Big Day Out!

Payment must be made with cash on the day of the trip.

Itinerary

8.15am Meet outside Saxon Crown, Elizabeth Street, Corby.
8.30am Depart Saxon Crown
Comfort break halfway
11am Arrive Tate Modern gallery

11.30am Half of the group enters ‘World Goes Pop’ Exhibition
12.30pm Other half of the group enters exhibition

3.45pm Meet at pick up point
4.00pm Depart Tate Modern
Comfort break halfway
18.30pm Arrive at Saxon Crown, Corby

You can spend all afternoon in the Tate Modern as there is plenty to see, plus a fantastic gift and bookshop.

Or you may want to walk along the Southbank after seeing the exhibition. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants to eat out, or you can bring a packed lunch. Various other attractions are within easy walking distance e.g. Globe Theatre, London Eye, Hayward Gallery, Royal Festival Hall, Gabriel’s Wharf, Southwark Cathedral, The Golden Hinde, Borough Market.

If you struggle to walk very far we can book a FREE electric scooter for your time at Tate Modern but we will need to know your access needs as soon as possible, as availability is limited. You can tell us all of this when you reserve your place.
