Cultivate Summer 2020 programme

10th July 2020

Cultivate Summer 2020 programme

Following on from two successful Zoom conversations with local artists in June and July, we’ve put together a Summer Programme of activities for artists and creative practitioners who are either based in, or are interested in working in Corby and/or Wellingborough. Please CLICK HERE to find out more about the full Cultivate Programme.

Online Conversations

A series of conversations around key issues identified by local artists. Each will be 1 hour long and facilitated by a member of the Made With Many team on Zoom .  We’re not promising any answers, but we are expecting a lively discussion about the issues we will all be facing in the coming months.

Sharing of Work on Tuesday 4th August

A chance for local creatives to share what they have been up to, learn about each other’s work and make new connections. There will be ten 5 minute slots available to share a project, or just come as an observer to hear about other people’s practice. CLICK HERE to invite your artist friends on facebook.

Collaboration on Thursday 20th August

An open discussion about how to collaborate with others whilst social distancing is in place, asking the vital questions of: How do we co-create work when we can’t be in a room together?  How do we connect with participants? What methods are there for working with other creatives? Come with ideas and questions to discuss with other creatives. CLICK HERE to invite your artist friends on facebook.

New working practices on Tuesday 1st September

As lockdown eases, we’ll be discussing how creative activities will need to adapt to social distancing and the possibility of local lockdowns. How can we design creative projects that have in-built flexibility? And how can we find space for social commentary? CLICK HERE to invite your artist friends on facebook.

Funding models for creative projects (2pm to 3pm Thursday 17th September)

Join Jo Dacombe from ArtReach for a session exploring different ways of funding creative projects in the community and tips on how to approach funders. CLICK HERE to invite your artist friends on facebook.
