Apply for support from Made With Many’s Cultivate Seed Programme to develop your idea and deliver new art experiences for people in Wellingborough.
What is the Cultivate Seed Programme?
Made With Many’s Cultivate Seed Programme will support new opportunities to link community groups with local artists or creative practitioners, to work together to create great art experiences for the people of Wellingborough. Ideas must engage with the public as audiences, participants or beneficiaries and must be developed with some community consultation or alongside a community group. Successful projects will need to align with Made with Many’s aims and values.
We are seeking applications for projects that engage new audiences and support communities that would not usually have access to the arts or culture. We are particularly interested in hearing from projects that reach our priority geographic and demographic communities, including:
- the Queensway, Kingsway, Hemmingwell and Castle ward areas;
- Black and Minority Ethnic communities;
- low-income families;
- the over 65s;
- those with disabilities or ill health;
- and young adults (aged 16-24 years).
The Cultivate Seed Programme will support the following types of cultural/artistic activity:
- Creative activities across all art forms and craft types that have a public audience (events and workshop delivery)
- Opportunities for people to engage with and/or create arts experiences (performances, visits, activities involving museums or libraries (depending on government guidelines), publications, exhibitions showcasing community work, etc.)
- Projects around local identity and/or heritage that bring the community together (community murals, oral history or storytelling projects, where individual artistic work is combined to form a community piece)
- Digital/online project resources (podcasts, how-to videos for ‘at home’ activities, etc.)
What support is available?
Alongside a bespoke package of support for artistic and project development, artists and community groups can apply for up to £3000 to support a project.
