Access at Corby Pole Fair
It is our aim that this year’s Pole Fair is as accessible to everyone as possible. We are working hard to ensure that the event is open, welcoming and inclusive to all.
Crowds and Noise
We are expecting a large number of people to attend, so please be aware that there may be situations of crowds and groups during performances. At each performance location, there will be some seating available for those who may require it. All of the viewing areas for the performances are at ground level. Due to most of the event being situated outside in public spaces, there will be people walking through event areas and ambient noise, as well as recorded music, live singing, instrumentals and amplified speech.
Pole Fair is taking place over a large area of the Corby Old Village. Whilst there will be areas that are noisier than others, we would recommend that Coronation Park is mostly likely to be the quietest space as there is no official activity happening on this site.
Disability Access & Baby Changing
The event site is a combination of closed roads, pavements and grassy spaces. We will have disabled toilet facilities across the site as well as baby changing (these will be indicated on the site map when it is published). Blue Badge holders can also book accessible parking HERE – please note that spaces are limited.
Assistance and Enquiries
There will be a large team of event staff and volunteers on the day so please do not hesitate to ask for assistance. If you have any specific questions about accessibility please phone or message Vicky Frayard on 07525 589702, or email vicky@madewithmany.org
