Our Arts Ambassadors are another way that local people get involved with our programme. They help us out with some practical tasks, but more importantly they tell everyone in their community about the work we are doing. That might be sharing our events on social media, distributing flyers and posters or even as simple as telling their friends, family, neighbours and work colleagues. They also take part in our community panels, making decisions about where we spend our money and what artists we bring to work with local people.
They are the unsung heroes of Made With Many and in return for a little bit of their time get some great experience, learn new skills and have fun. They’re also the first to know about our events, projects and any special offers we have!
We have a committed group of Arts Ambassadors, but are always on the lookout for more. We would love to see every community in Corby and Wellingborough have an Arts Ambassador who can link local people with the activities offered by both ourselves and the other arts organisations in the borough. There’s no minimum time commitment, it’s more about being willing to get involved, share information and being passionate about the arts.
