About the role

We are searching for a new Programme Director to lead our innovative programme of community-led cultural activities across Corby and Wellingborough in North Northamptonshire. The role is central to realising the ambitions of both the consortium and our local communities in producing incredible cultural experiences that enhance the area and expanding our reach across the area.

We are a community-led arts programme, hosted by Groundwork Northamptonshire, which produces events and activities designed to inspire more local people than ever before to take the lead in experiencing, creating and taking part in high quality arts and cultural activities. Through conversations with local people and community decision-making structures, we put local people at the heart of commissioning artists and producing new and exciting events.

The Programme Director is the strategic lead for our Creative People and Places programme, working with the consortium to set the direction of the programme, development and implementation of the business plan, including income generation and resource development, and work with the Head of Creative Programme to drive the strategic direction of the cultural programme.

We are seeking a highly motivated leader with senior experience in either the cultural or voluntary sector. You’ll be experienced in enabling community leaderships, overseeing a varied programme, managing a small team and developing stakeholder relationships.

Salary: £41,200 pa

Hours: 37 per week including evenings and weekends when required

Location: Made With Many offices in both Corby and Wellingborough town centre, with some potential for home-working

First round interviews will take place online on the 3rd and 7th of November with Groundwork Northamptonshire’s Executive Director and our Chair.

The second interview, which a members of our Consortium will also attend, will involve a short written task to be submitted in advance and presented in the interview, and an opportunity for an informal conversation with the other members of the Made With Many team.
