Summer Art Festival and Workshops
Over the summer Lemonpop Workshops is running FREE creative sessions at WACA, St Mark’s Church, Hemmingwell Centre and Wellingborough Library, culminating in a celebration of creativity at their Summer Art Festival on Saturday 13th August.
Carnival at The Beach
On Wednesday 17th August Carnival comes to ‘The Beach’ with a free pop-up carnival arts workshop for all the family.
Mike Prescod MBE Multimedia Artwork Tribute
Cinnamon Arts Group, supported by Made With Many’s Black Community Forum are producing a crowdsourced Multimedia Artwork tribute to Mike Prescod MBE for public display, to highlight Black contribution in Wellingborough. A large ‘Mr P’ profile-shaped collage will be generated from photos, text, personal memories, observations and reflections on his influence sent in by the community.
