Commission brief

We are looking for an early years creative arts practitioner (Early Years Artist) who wants to develop ten creative play sessions, to start a Bub Club group in the Hemmingwell area of Wellingborough. The practitioner will have the opportunity to undertake online early years community dance training and work with early years movement specialist Liz Clark from Turned On Its Head to plan and co-deliver the first two sessions. Liz will then provide mentoring online for the remaining programme.

The aim of the project is to establish a group for families with under 4s, with support for parents, and to develop play ideas for families that are affordable, help parents to connect with their children, and improve the wellbeing of local families. This is a great opportunity for a practitioner who wants to develop new creative play activities through art. We welcome practitioners from a range of art forms including dance, storytelling, music and theatre.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on Wednesday 17th August.

Informal interviews will take place with panel representatives from the organisations involved on Monday 22nd August (morning).
