Mural Artist Callout for Embankment Mural

Please download the brief for full details of this opportunity.

The Wellingborough Street Art Trail and Embankment Mural

We are working with North Northamptonshire Council and Nenescape (part of the River Nene Regional Partnership) to improve the Embankment area of the River Nene at Wellingborough with a visual art mural that will form part of Made With Many’s flagship Wellingborough Street Art Trail.

Commission brief

The Embankment mural project will transform the iconic area opposite the Whitworths Mill by the River Nene in Wellingborough, where there is currently a great deal of Graffiti. Although there is currently no thematic brief, the design must take in the views of the general public through a pop-up event in late August/early September (depending on the availability of the artist) at this busy river spot. Another workshop with volunteers involved in the project would be an option too.  The artist will then design the mural and work with Made With Many to plan the completion of the artwork alongside volunteers.
