Creative Wellbeing Day for our Disabled Community
Explore your creative side & connect with people!
Tuesday 20 July, 10am to 2pm
Tithe Barn, Wellingborough, NN8 1BZ
(access via Morrison’s Wellingborough Car Park)
The event will run from 10am to 2pm and you are welcome to drop in at any time or stay for the entire event. There will be opportunities to try something new including arts, craft, dance and music and a chance to speak to the Disabled Community Champions. Tea, coffee and snacks available.
Sessions included:
- Exploring sound – Music workshop with Michael Ormiston, from Eye Music Trust and Sound transformations.
- Exploring movement – Dance session with Sarah Lockwood
- Exploring craft – Make your own clay coasters with Artist Carole Miles
- Exploring ideas : creative community consultation Led by Made With Many
- Stalls and information from the Disability Forum, Teamwork Trust, Community Champions, and Made with Many.
