Time To… CREATE (May 2019 – March 2020)

Time To Create was a year-long programme of free arts activities for over 65’s that supported with generous funding from the ScottishPower Foundation and leading up to a celebration of older peoples’ creativity (originally planned for March 2020). Local older people participated in regular sessions from May 2019 until March 2020 led by artists Phiona Richards, Linzi Bright, Tina Heeley and Ryan Leder at many venues including: Corby Library, Glenmoor House Care Home, Sandalwood Court Care Home, Lakelands Hospice, Seagrave House Care Home, The Autumn Centre and Hazelwood Neighbourhood Centre.

Time To… TAKEOVER (rescheduled)
The culmination of the Time To Create sessions, originally planned for March 2020 and currently postponed until Autumn 2020 – Time To Takeover will be a FREE event suitable for all ages. This celebration event will feature drop-in craft and dance taster workshops as well as a showcase of creative work by local people. From exhibitions of visual art, creative writing and photography, to live performances of dance, spoken word, singing, sensory music and more!
